عصای کوهنوردی Exponent اکسپوننت مدل ABD-3-8512 یکی از پرطرفدار ترین باتوم های کوهنوردی در چندین سال اخیر بوده و به دلیل کیفیت ساخت بالا و قیمت مناسب ، باتوم مورد علاقه در بین کوهنوردان و طبیعت گردان بشمار میرود. در ساختار بدنه باتوم کوهنوردی اکسپوننت ABD-3-8512 از آلیاژ آلومنیوم ۷۰۷۵ استفاده شده که علاوه بر ایجاد وزن سبک ، در برابر شرایط مختلف جوی و ضربه نیز از مقاومت بالایی برخوردار میباشد ، نوع قفل باتوم اکسپوننت از نوع قفل محبوب کلیپسی از جنس فلزی بوده و در قسمت پشت قفل نیز یک پیچ قابل تنظیم جهت تنظیم میزان سفت شدن قفل نیز وجود دارد. باتوم Exponent ABD-3-8512 یک باتوم فنی و بسیار کاربردی بوده که جهت استفاده در فعالیت های پیمایشی تراکینگ Tracking و هایکینگ Hiking نظیر کوهنوردی ، پیاده روی و طبیعت گردی گزینه مناسبی بشمار میرود ، در قسمت دستگیره باتوم از ترکیب متریال چوب پنبه و پلی پروپیلن بسیار نرم و منعطف استفاده شده و تا قسمت پایین دسته را نیز پوشش میدهد این ویژگی علاوه بر ایجاد نرمی و راحتی هرچه بهتر و همچنین چسبندگی بهتر به دست ، باعث میشود تا کاربر در مسیرهای پرشیب بتواند از باتوم راحتتر استفاده نماید. طبق تحقیقات انجام شده استفاده از باتوم یا عصای کوهنوردی میتواند تا بیست درصد سبب کاهش فشار بارهای داخلی و خارجی به مفصل زانو گردد و از آسیب دیدگی زانو و سایر مفاصل در فعالیت های کوهنوردی طولانی مدت جلوگیری نماید. عصا یا باتوم کوهنوردی یکی از مهمترین و کاربردی ترین تجهیزات جهت استفاده در فعالیت های پیمایشی و کوهنوردی میباشد ، باتوم کوهنوردی میتواند علاوه بر ایجاد تعادل و حفظ امنیت کاربر در طول مسیر ، چندین تن فشار را در طول روز از قسمت اندام های تحتحانی به قسمت دست ها منتقل نماید.
